Terms of Service
Last updated: May 26, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and services operated by US Software Professionals Inc. (“USSP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including www.ussp.co, the back-office portal at app.ussp.co, and any related career application, contact, and notification flows. By accessing or using any of these you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. About USSP
USSP is an Illinois corporation (Registration #62642807) founded on January 23, 2003. We provide IT staffing, healthcare staffing, AI transformation consulting, and related professional services to enterprise, government, and small-business clients in the United States, India, and Canada. Our registered office is 875 N Michigan Ave, Suite 3100, Chicago, IL 60614.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. If you create an account on the back-office portal (app.ussp.co) or sign in through Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current information
- Maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access — contact accounts@ussoftwarepro.com
4. Permitted Use
You may use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Submit false information in a job application, contact form, or referral
- Upload malware, viruses, or any content that could harm our systems or other users
- Attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape data at scale, or interfere with the normal operation of the services
- Use the services to harass, defame, or send unsolicited bulk communications
- Use any data made available through the back office (candidate information, position information, contact lists) outside the scope of your employment or contractual relationship with USSP
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law
5. Authorized Integrations (Gmail / Outlook / LinkedIn)
Certain back-office features allow authorized USSP staff to connect their own Google or Microsoft accounts for narrowly scoped purposes — for example, importing their personal contacts into USSP’s talent network with explicit double-opt-in consent from each contact. When you connect such an account:
- We request only the minimum permissions needed for the feature (e.g. contacts.readonly for Google, Contacts.Read for Microsoft Graph)
- We read your contact list at the moment you initiate an import; we never read your email content, calendar, files, or any other data outside the permission you granted
- We persist only the contacts you explicitly select. Any other contact returned by the provider is discarded after the import session ends
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and are hard-deleted when you disconnect the integration
- Each imported contact receives a one-click confirmation email and is NOT added to any USSP broadcast list unless they click confirm
You may disconnect any integration at any time from the back-office settings, and you may additionally revoke USSP’s access from your Google Account (myaccount.google.com) or Microsoft account (myaccount.microsoft.com).
6. Job Applications and Communications
When you apply for a position through our careers portal, you authorize USSP and our authorized partners (including clients and subvendors with whom we may submit your candidacy) to use the information you provide for the purpose of evaluating your application and contacting you about it.
SMS, WhatsApp, and email notifications are sent only with your explicit opt-in. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message we send, or by emailing accounts@ussoftwarepro.com. Once unsubscribed, USSP will not re-add you to any subscriber list without a fresh opt-in from you.
7. Intellectual Property
The USSP name, logo, and all content on www.ussp.co (including text, graphics, layouts, and software) are the property of US Software Professionals Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Content you submit to USSP (resume, application, profile data) remains your property; you grant USSP a non-exclusive license to use it for the purpose of providing the services and pursuing the opportunity you applied for.
8. Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with third-party providers including but not limited to Google (sign-in, contact import, hosted services), Microsoft (sign-in, Outlook contact import), LinkedIn (sign-in), Supabase (database), Railway (hosting), and Anthropic / OpenAI (AI features). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. USSP is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
9. Disclaimers
The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. USSP does not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. Job postings and career-related information are provided for general informational purposes; USSP makes no representation that any specific position will remain open or that any applicant will be selected. Nothing on the services constitutes legal, financial, tax, immigration, or medical advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, US Software Professionals Inc., its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the services. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless USSP, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
USSP may suspend or terminate your access to the services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will remain in effect.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to These Terms
USSP may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may also notify you by email or via the back-office portal. Your continued use of the services after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
